November 6th – Steady Hand

Under all is God. No created thing is above nor beyond. Small are all things enormous to man. Peace is with He who knows truly his God. The greatest problems of man, in all complexity of personality and generation, is of a single thought of He who holds all things firm. Do not be troubled of your unrest; it is in My hand, and it knows no escape from it. Before it came about, it passed before My eyes. Its future is already known, your peace, therefore, is already your own. In faith you grasp it, for in so you grasp My hand, and it shakes not. Rest, as you believe in Me. Peace belongs to you in faith. In great faith comes great peace. Stumble not in anxious thoughts, for in these I am not pleased. Your trials are to raise you for the Kingdom, and for others to come. They are not unknown, and their limits have been set. Fear is of the unbeliever, and of the believer, mistrust. Remember whom you serve, that you would not tremble.

Isaiah 41:10 (ESV) – Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Bottom Line: We all go through trials in life, some of which are absolutely horrible. As Christ-followers, even in the toughest trials, we must remember the immensity of our God. If we fear, it is either because we think God is not there, He’s not big enough, or is not paying attention. We may think He is about to take us through something we want no part of going through.  If this is you today, remember that He already knows where He is leading you. Take His hand. Have peace knowing you can trust in Him. Have faith knowing that He loves you and knows your path ahead – completely.
