January 7th – Seek His Path

Each is called, created for My way for them, perfectly designed to function in their unique ability and gifting. But no tree grows without water, and no shade from the shade tree without continual light from above. Soil set hard is good for one, loose as the sand on the beach for another. I call you to Me before your career, for in My answer (where you were designed to be) will be your direction. The day gives no answers, only reaction to its events, but with wisdom from above comes direction and growth. Even on unlevel ground will you grow straight. My call fits you well. The calls of wealth and strength of this world wears down the soul, fulfilled for a time, but emptied in the end. Seek My path; lean to Me that I might show you more. Deeper do I know you, even above yourself. Seek My way, and the lost way will become lit at your feet, that your steps will be guided and your way become My way. Come that you may be nourished for the work of your hands. Strength and courage will be found when you find My way for your feet.

Isa. 30:21-23 (ESV) – And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left.  Then you will defile your carved idols overlaid with silver and your gold-plated metal images. You will scatter them as unclean things. You will say to them, “Be gone!”And he will give rain for the seed with which you sow the ground, and bread, the produce of the ground, which will be rich and plenteous. In that day your livestock will graze in large pastures.

Bottom Line:  Each of us has a specific design, known best by our Creator. We will work best in the places in which we were designed. We need to seek Him for direction in our careers, and within our careers, and to follow as He leads.
